Gym Fitness for Women

How much for a gym membership at 24 hour fitness for a month?

OK i am on summer vacation right now and i only want to go to the gym for a month. I wanted to gain some muscle mass. And i've never been to the gym so i was wondering how much would it cost for me to make a membership or I was also wondering will they just let me not make a membership and just pay each day i am there separately?

  1. Why not just call them and find out? It's going to differ depending on the area you live in anyway. They have a bunch of different levels of memberships, and there is an enrollment fee. But you might be able to get a student deal. I worked there for 3 years, and believe me, the sales people can cut you a deal of some sort.
  2. There is a $24 dollar joining fee special going on right now. Normally gyms make you sign a contract and you will be charged the membership fee monthly even if you do not go. If they let you go for one month it might be expensive. You might be able to go for a day or two to try it out to see if it is something you want to do.
  3. Paying each day separately is going to cost much more in the long run. If you are in school and are out for summer break ask about summer specials for students, which should probably cost around $75 or so (for the entire summer). You can get a 2-week free trial to see how you like the gym and then decide if you want to continue working out there. On a side note, lifting weights for only a month is not going to give you much muscle mass, I hate to break it to you. If you spent the entire summer working out then you'd see more of a difference. I'm not trying to discourage you from working out at all, I just don't want your expectations to be set too high and then be disappointed when you're not shredded by mid-July. You need to be realistic about what you can accomplish in a month.
