Any tips and good gyms for my new years resolution?

my new years resolution this year, is to lose 20 pounds. Me and my sister are in it together, and i was wondering if anybody has any good tips for a 4-5 week diet? Also if anyone has been to gyms that they would reccomend? thank you in advance:)

  1. the gym i go to is snap fitness eat 4-6 small meals a day and 30 min of carido at least 3 times a week
  2. Why stop at only 4-5 weeks? I have been going to Curves and love the fact that it is a good 30 minute work-out that causes your heart and breathing rates to increase but you are done in 30 minutes! Yes, it is somewhat expensive but I found it as the only program I have been willing to stick with. The E word was my bad word!!! You and your sister should go on a balanced diet of meat, veggies, fruit, whole grains and low fat milk in 3 meals. Drink water. Eliminate regular soda and fruit juices--too much sugar. Try to eliminate junk food, fast foods, fried foods, oils, mayonnaise, butter, margarine, and most desserts (except fresh fruit). If you choose to do your own workout at home, do at least 30 minutes each and every day of walking. It will help you more efficiently use the food you are eating and help firm up the areas where you are losing. And it is a good way to get some fresh air.
